GOES TO CARL HEVENER, FRANKLIN, WEST VIRGINIA
Carl has bought several sheep from us over the years. Hacksaw was retained as a junior sire to breed our "HIGH ROLLER " daughters. He was a son of MacCauley 2612, our most influential Suffolk sire. The dam of HACKSAW was High Road 301, a fine daughter of Emenheiser 1P, our A.I .sired son of the Canadian sire, Kilannan 1P.
HACSAW is a full brother to our 2015 VA ram test sale topper at $1500. He is a sheep with pleasing pattern, length of side, muscle shape, soundness of structure, bone and breed type along with ideal disposition.
Hacksaw bred a group of "High Roller daughters, as a yearling, but they all sold to MacCauley Suffolk in PA, so I never got to see the lambs.
Hacksaw's new home is not far away, in Pendleton County, West Virginia, fine sheep country, so maybe we can visit some day and see what Hacksaw can do..
